Debt capital markets

Mayne Wetherell has a market-leading debt capital markets practice, advising New Zealand issuers on their debt-raising transactions.

Our practice

Our practice covers the full spectrum of debt capital markets activity.  We advise our clients in the establishment of domestic and offshore programmes and subsequent issuances, including listed retail and wholesale issuances in New Zealand, as well as offshore wholesale issuances.  We are known for guiding our clients through the complexities of the debt capital markets and the related disclosure and listing requirements.

Our edge is our breadth of experience and market knowledge.  We act for many of New Zealand’s largest and most active corporate issuers who regularly access both the New Zealand and offshore markets.  Clients rely on our understanding of investor expectations and regulatory requirements.  This insight allows us to design funding solutions that are aligned with our clients’ long-term objectives.
