Sherryn is a corporate partner who helps clients navigate transactions, investment activities and broader corporate issues.
Sherryn is a corporate and M&A partner with particular experience in private equity, cross-border transactions, overseas investment and complex structuring. She takes a practical, commercial approach to her work and supports clients through significant transactions in a straightforward and collaborative way.
She advises domestic and international clients on acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and governance matters, acting for private equity sponsors, global corporates and New Zealand businesses across sectors including forestry and agribusiness, financial services, consumer products and technology. She also has extensive experience with New Zealand’s foreign investment regimes, including OIO approvals.
In addition to her transactional practice, Sherryn advises on a range of corporate matters, including management equity and incentive arrangements, corporate governance and compliance issues. Clients value her clear communication, sound judgment and ability to provide practical advice that aligns with their commercial objectives.
