Start your journey
We welcome applications from law students across Aotearoa who are ready to take on meaningful work and grow quickly in a collaborative environment. We look for outstanding academic results, but just as importantly, we value the qualities that help you succeed in a transactional law firm: curiosity, initiative, sound judgement and a willingness to learn.
Our summer clerk programme is open to students in their penultimate year of study. A commerce or business degree is not a prerequisite, but an interest in understanding how businesses operate and a desire to develop strong commercial awareness are important.
All summer clerks join us in our Auckland office, working alongside our lawyers across corporate, finance and tax. The programme runs from mid-November to mid-February and summer clerks are paid throughout the Christmas break.
If you are ready to take your opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
