Mayne Wetherell acted for the consortium of investors comprising Strategic Finance Limited's original owners and senior management and BOS International (Australia) Limited in relation to the proposed acquisition of Strategic Investment Group Limited, the immediate parent of Strategic Finance Limited, from Allco HIT Limited.
Acquisition of NZ Poultry Holdings (Tegel Foods)
Mayne Wetherell acted for BOS International (Australia) Limited, ANZ National Bank Limited and Westpac Banking Corporation as senior financiers in connection with the acquisition by Pacific Equity Partners and ANZ Capital of NZ Poultry Holdings (Tegel Foods). The transaction completed in February 2008.
Takeover of CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited
Mayne Wetherell acted, together with Clayton Utz, for BOS International (Australia) Limited, ABN AMRO and Royal Bank of Scotland as arrangers and financiers in relation to the acquisition of shares in CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited by HT Media Limited (a subsidiary established by the sponsors, Ironbridge Capital and Oaktower Partnership). The takeover offer was made in June 2006.
Financing investment into the Elrond and Qualcare aged care businesses
Mayne Wetherell advised BOS International (Australia) Limited as financier in connection with the investment by Ironbridge Capital into the Elrond and Qualcare businesses. Together the businesses form one of the largest suppliers of aged care services in New Zealand. The transaction completed in December 2005.
Financing the acquisition of Onesource and Leasing Solutions
Mayne Wetherell advised BOS International (Australia) Limited on its financing of the companies established by Archer Capital to purchase the business and assets of Onesource Group Limited and Leasing Solutions Limited from Hanover Group Limited. The transaction completed in September 2005.
Financing the acquisition of Eldercare aged care business
Mayne Wetherell advised BOS International (Australia) Limited as lender to Macquarie Bank in connection with Macquarie's acquisition of the Eldercare aged care business. The transaction completed in July 2005. |
